#1 - Target Customer Profile
This is the first and the most important step of the Copywriting process. Creating the Target Customer Profile helps us to:
- Identify the Ideal Customer
- Talk to the Ideal Customer directly through our other Copies (Emails, Ads, VSLs, etc.)
- Understand the Pain Points, Questions, Desires, Roadblocks, Results, etc. of our Target Customers
Here is an example of a Target Customer Profile:
Our Target Customer's name is Raj.
Raj is a college student who dreams of becoming a tech-industry expert.
Currently, Raj's focus is on Job search.
Ultimately, Raj really wants to find a high-paying job in the Tech industry.
Right this minute, Raj would be ecstatic if he could find a career path that he likes and cares about within the Tech industry.
Unfortunately, Raj still needs to figure out how to gain the necessary skills required to land his first job.
Raj is also really frustrated by the fact that this is a long and boring process of gaining the necessary skills.
Plus, he still needs the answer to this question before he can move forward: "How can I quickly gain the necessary job-specific skillsets"
Raj is also still hung up on the idea that learning is hard and boring.
When all is said and done, Raj just wants to pass job interview on the first try.
